Nurseries and classes
Use one of our topic boxes to bring focus to your visit to Ipswich Museum – specifically designed for younger children.
Museums are exciting places for young children to explore, inspiring curiosity and rich conversations. Their experiences are just as important as those of any visitor coming through our doors
We are pleased to offer several topic boxes for Early Years groups to use whilst visiting Ipswich Museum:
- Owl Babies – Themed around the bird gallery, this box contains the resources for your group to explore owls and birds in a variety of ways.
- Monkey Puzzle – This box encourages the children to explore the animals in the Natural History gallery.
- Rocks and Fossils – Explore the world of rocks and fossils through this gallery box.
To book a topic box and confirm a date you wish to visit, just contact us and we will be happy to help.
In addition we also have “Woolly’s Treasure Chest“, which is a box that can be borrowed ahead of your visit to introduce Early Years children to the museum.
