Resident Pass

By becoming a Resident Pass holder and visiting Colchester Museums, you are supporting the conservation of our heritage, preserving it for future generations.

During September, we ran our #LoveColchesterCastle competition on Facebook, where local residents could win one of four Resident Passes. We were overwhelmed with the number of entries, which were judged by Cllr Tim Young and Colchester Museums Manger, Tom Hodgson. So what did our judges think?

We were stunned at the huge variety of photographs and how the Castle has provided the backdrop to many happy memories for locals. From parents sharing tender moments of their children to the sheer majesty of the building, the competition has proved that locals really do #LoveColchesterCastle.

The four winning images captured the heart and soul of the Castle throughout the seasons. I hope the winners enjoy their year’s free entry to the Castle and spread the word to help ensure the Castle is preserved for many generations to come, making a Better Colchester for everyone.” Cllr Tim Young
